Dog Daycare Dublin – Frequently Asked Questions

We provide bedding to ensure your dog has a cosy and restful stay, bowls for food and water and a comfortable temperature controlled room suited to your dog’s needs.

We ask that you bring your dog’s lead and food and treats to ensure they stay on their regular diet while in our care. We ask all our owners to ensure that all leads and harnesses provided are the correct size for their dog.

Your dog’s own food must be supplied by you, clearly labelled as to how much is given at each feed and the time(s) of any feed. Please provide the correct amount of feed only, no large bags of feed, unless required for your dog’s stay. A measure for your dog’s food is required if it is not pre-bagged. We do not require bowls. Please note that dogs may be off their food for the first couple of days of boarding while they adjust to their new environment. Dogs sometimes lose weight during boarding. This is normally due to the increase in exercise levels when staying with other dogs.

Yes, your dog’s bed/blankets can be brought but we require that are clean and washed prior to arrival. You are also welcome to bring any toys that may help settle them in although we caution they may be damaged by play with other guests and we will not be responsible for their replacement!

Yes, to ensure that all our dogs are safe, we will only accept fully up to date vaccinated dogs and that hold a current vaccination certificate. Inoculation against kennel cough is also required.

In order to board or attend our daycare your dog must be:

Spayed or Neutered if over 6 months.

Fully vaccinated: hold a current vaccination certificate and have been inoculated against Infectious Bronchitis (Kennel Cough) and be up to date with flea & tick and worming medication.

Social with other dogs: An Assessment daycare visit (by reservation only) is required prior to your dog’s first daycare or boarding stay with us so we can evaluate your dog’s temperament and suitability for our facility. To ensure the safety and enjoyment of all our guests, all dogs attending with us must be happy to be around other dogs and have never shown aggression towards another dog or person.

Attendance: we do recommend that your dog should come to the daycare on a weekly basis to ensure they settle correctly in our environment and the other dogs

Dogs cannot attend daycare or boarding if they:

  • Have any medical / health issues
  • Have any behaviour issues towards other dogs or humans
  • Are over the age of 8 unless they have vet clearance

If your dog has a barking issue with noise, other dogs, people etc please let us know at the time of booking.
